I am here to work WITH you and to learn WITH you. I am a vocal technician with experience in many styles of music - musical theatre, classical, pop, rock, jazz, R&B...we will work on creating a mind/body connection that will allow you to make the choices you want, vocally, time and time again.

I will also work with you on your musicianship, performance techniques, audition skills and so much more!

WHO ARE MY CURRENT STUDENTS? Broadway Artists, Touring and Regional/Local Theatre Artists, Touring Rock/Pop Musicians, Singer-Songwriters, Recording Artists, Elementary, Middle, and High School Students, College Students accepted into top university programs like NYU, Baldwin Wallace, Syracuse, Shenandoah, and more. My students have been seen on TV, in film, and have won 1st place in NATS competitions and more!

MY SPECIALTIES? While I work with MANY different kinds of students, the areas I specialize in that make me uniquely qualified to meet your needs:

  • VOCAL HEALTH AND REHAB - I have specialized training to work with injured or disordered voices. I do so as part of a voice care team. Meaning, you will be under the care of a Laryngologist and SLP while working with me to recover. I have worked with many kinds of singers recovering from injury, including teachers, children, and high level performers who require signing an NDA. We have recovered from cysts, nodules, polyps, MTD, and other types of vocal injuries and disorders. Ask me if you need a recommendation for a Laryngologist and/or SLP.

  • MUSICAL THEATRE - I have been a working actor for 20 years and am a member of Actor's Equity Association. I have experience professionally in the NYC, Seattle, Philadelphia, and DC area markets. I am also an MT music director and have worked in equity houses (including Broadway) as a teaching artist, MD, and performer. I combine detailed vocal technique work with acting through song training and musicianship skills when working with musical theatre performers to help create complete performers who have healthy voices and know how to navigate the business.

  • SINGER-SONGWRITER PARTNERSHIPS - I LOVE working with singer-songwriters! I will never try to change your sound from whatever it is that makes you YOU, but I WILL help you find a healthy way to sustain your unique sound while out on the road.

  • INDIVIDUALIZED LEARNING AND CARE - I believe everyone is unique and while you will see common themes in my lessons, they will not look the same for every person. I have successfully partnered with neuro-diverse students - including those with autism, ADHD, bipolar disorder, selective mutism, and various anxiety disorders. I have experience working with  deaf and hearing impaired singers  as well as blind singers and students with long-term illnesses. My studio is a safe space for all, including transgender students, LGBTQ+ students, BIPOC students, ESL students, and differently-abled students.
